Our School Break Camps at Aikido of Park Slope welcome children ages 6–14 for six-hour days of movement, mindfulness, and fun. Perfect for spring break, holiday weeks, or summer vacation, our camps combine outdoor training in Prospect Park with the calm focus of our Park Slope dojo.

A Typical Camp Day
Morning in Prospect Park
- 
Group warm-up and a 1.5-mile run

Strength and conditioning drills

Safety & Supervision
Your child’s well-being is our top priority. All sessions are led by instructors who have years of experience working with children both on and off the mat. Our staff-to-student ratio ensures close supervision, and we always adapt activities to each child’s age and ability level.
Dates & Enrollment
Camp sessions run during school breaks and summer vacation. Each session lasts six days, with camp days running approximately six hours. Enrollment is limited to ensure quality instruction and small group learning.

Yes! No prior martial arts experience is required.
What happens in case of rain?
In light rain, we still meet in Prospect Park. In heavier weather, camp begins earlier at the dojo.
